Vanoc says the selected flowers are grown in B.C. and Canada, but can’t be sourced naturally at this time of year
By STEVE WHYSALL, Vancouver Sun When florists June Strandberg and Margitta Schulz won the contract to produce 1,800 bouquets for medallists at the Winter Olympics, their first instinct was to design something that “looked like B.C.,” with lots of native foliage.
